No Walk-Ins In Tobago

TOBAGO is strongly maintaining that Covid-19 vaccination on the island is being done by appointments only and not by walk-ins as  in Trinidad.

The Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) on Wednesday issued a media release advising the public of its present arrangement.

“There are no walk-in vaccination stations in Tobago at this time. Members of the public should not go to Health Centres for vaccinations without appointments,” the TRHA stated.

The TRHA stated that the  second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine were currently being administered at the Scarborough, Canaan and Roxborough Health centres by appointment only, for priority groups including older people, people with non-communicable diseases, health workers, protective service officers, caregivers, teachers and other essential workers.

“Other priority groups such as workers in the construction and tourism sectors are being coordinated through the various associations and they will be informed of their special arrangements,” the TRHA stated.

The public can pre-register by calling 211, WhatsApp Only: 493-0248 / 0256 / 0284 / 0289 with name, age, contact, place of work, address and clinic, online through the website https://trha.co.tt/delta/ or email  covid19trha@gmail.com.

Persons will be informed of their vaccination date, time and location, the TRHA stated.
