THERE is no fee attached to Firearms Users’ Licence (FUL) Cards.
A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) stated that it has come to the attention of the Officer of the Commissioner of Police that people were being informed that there was a fee attached to the acquisition of the said cards.
The release stated, “Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, wishes to categorically state that there is absolutely no fee attached to the acquisition of Firearms Users’ Licence cards.
“If at any time during the acquisition process of the Firearms Users’ Licence cards there is any solicitation of monies, persons are required to report the matter to 482-GARY.
“Additionally, the Commissioner of Police wishes to advise that the extension of the payment of licence fees is now 30th July 2020.”
