THE number of murders in Trinidad and Tobago for the year thus far has crossed 500.
This after two people were killed on Lady Chancellor Hill on Friday evening.
They have been identified as Kevon Gill,12, and his father Clevon Gill.
According to reports around 6.45 p.m. police received a call about a white Nissan Sylphy parked at the bottom of the hill.
When police investigated they found two dead male occupants inside.
They suffered several gunshot wounds to the head and were found slumped in the front seats of the vehicle.
The bodies were discovered by joggers who opened the vehicle after they noticed the engine running and the glass frosted.
The killings pushed the murder toll to 501.
There were 516 murders in TT in 2018.
