THE body of a woman was discovered in Tobago and police believe it could be that of missing person Vanna Girod of Valsayn.
The body was discovered on Wednesday morning at a secluded beach in Tobago.
Girod, 30, who lived at Butu Road, Valsayn South, was reported missing on Tuesday to the Shirvan Road Police Station after going for a walk.
She did not return to the Villa Being, Arnos Vale Trace, Tobago where she was staying with her relatives.
AZPNews.com was told a woman’s body was discovered by a Tobagonian who had ventured out to sea in a boat around 10.30 am.
Girod was last seen wearing a green and grey sweater, and green and blue pants. Her clothes were both neatly folded in a trail that runs northeast of the villa.
Police are continuing their investigation
