ON Local Government Election (LGE) day, 373 persons will be contesting the election for various political parties.
The People’s National Movement (PNM) is the only political party with candidates in all 141 electoral districts, the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) stated in a media release on Tuesday.
The other nine parties fielding candidates are:

The EBC also revealed that there will be six independent candidates in the respective electoral districts:
