TV talk show host Ian Alleyne will not be released from the Caura Hospital because he has tested positive for Covid-19.
This according to Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi who said his court matter was withdrawn on Thursday since Alleyne was tested positive for Covid-19.
Alleyne through his attorney Gerald Ramdeen filed a matter to have him released since he was in possession of discharged documents from the hospital but was not physically allowed to leave.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram said he was waiting on a report on the matter.
