THE Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Petroleum Arlene Chow receives a monthly salary of $150,000.
This was revealed in the Senate on Tuesday by Minister of Energy and Energy Industries Franklin Khan in response to a question from Opposition Senator Wade Mark.
Khan said the Chief Financial Officer of Heritage Nigel Campbell gets $110,600 monthly that includes $8,000 each for housing allowance and pension contribution with a vehicle allowance of $14,600.
He said the General Manager of Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited Mushtaq Mohammed receives a monthly salary of $112, 037 that comprises $86,700 base salary, $16,667 vehicle allowance and $8,670 housing allowance.
The position of Financial Lead of Paria held by Isabella Nelson-Lovell receives a salary of $59,915 monthly with a vehicle allowance of $7,916, and $4,333 each for pension and housing allowance.
Khan said the positions of GM Paria, CFO Heritage and Financial Lead position of Paria were all advertised in the newspapers and online and the individuals were shortlisted and interviewed.
He said the CEO of Heritage was headhunted after the previous holder left the country suddenly due to illness.
Khan said Chow’s contract expires in September and he said she has performed “creditably.”
He said the compensation packages were benchmarked to industry standards.
