Head of PEP Alexander Father Dies

THE father of the political leader of the Progress Empowerment Party (PEP) Phillip Edward Alexander has passed away.

Edward Elias Alexander died from natural causes on Tuesday. He was 80.

He was born to Natalie and Elias Alexander on October 6, 1942.Β  He was affectionately known as Eddie, Dad, Papa, Gido. He was the husband of Patricia Louise Alexander nee Nicholas.

Alexander, a businessman, was the father of Faye-Ann Jardine nee Alexander (deceased), Paul, Phillip, Giselle Alexander Jemmott and Liesel.

On Wednesday, his son Phillip said, β€œHe was a giant of a man who helped shaped our perception in our informative years and his unrelenting belief in the power of people to change their circumstances that has led to my siblings and myself all being in public life.”

Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
