SIPARIA – POLICE have discovered the body of a gyro vendor in Siparia.
The body of Jamil Ahmed, who migrated from Bangladesh to Trinidad, was found with stab wounds at an apartment in De Gannes Lane, Spiaria.
Police said Ahmed was last seen alive two days ago and around 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday, the landlord observed water flowing out of Ahmed’s apartment.
Officers of the Siparia CID broke through a door and discovered the body on the floor with stab wounds to the head, face, and neck.
Police said there were no signs of a struggle and blood was splattered on the back door.
