MINISTER of Trade and Industry Paula Gopee-Scoon has contracted Covid-19.
This was revealed by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley on Monday.
During a joint press conference with Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Dr Rowley apologised for the absence of Gopee-Scoon at the conference.
He said she was in isolation after getting the virus and was also the driving force behind the investment process between the two countries.
Holness is an official state visit to Trinidad and Tobago.
