MORE than 40 farmers of Petersfield Road in Felicity burnt tyres and other debris on Wednesday morning to protest the clearing of state lands with their crops on it.

They said that they were mistreated by the Land and Settlement Agency (LSA) and did not receive any compensation for the crops. Roads blocked included Petersfield Road and Cancandee Main Road.
