A 25-year-old man is expected to be charged for possession of firearm and ammunition following an anti-gang operation in Enterprise on Saturday.
At 8.45 pm on Saturday, officers of the Central Division Gang Unit (CDGU) were on patrol in the Enterprise area when they saw a group of men acting suspiciously.
The officers detained and searched the men. During the search, CDGU officers allegedly found a Glock with a magazine outfitted with five rounds of .40 calibre ammunition on a 25-year-old man of Rita Street, Enterprise.
He was arrested and taken into police custody. The CDGU is continuing investigations into the finds.
