FORMER energy minister Conrad Enill is to be the next chairman of the National Gas Company.
He will replace Gerry Brooks who resigned from NGC and all its subsidiaries last month.
Enill’s appointment was confirmed today by the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian which quoted him as saying, “That is not as yet finalised as far as I am aware. I don’t think the paperwork is in place, but I know that the offer has been made,”
He said he wanted to wait until an announcement by the Government before commenting.
An internal memo with Enill’s appointment has also been circulated to the NGC staff.
