CHIEF Executive Office of P&V Marketing Visham Babwah is calling on other businesses to do like Jenny’s on the Boulevard and put charging ports on their compound for electric vehicles (EVs).
He made the call on Saturday at an open house for EVs at Jenny’s on the Boulevard at Cipriani Boulevard in Port of Spain.
Chief Operations Officer of Jenny’s Jonathan Sharma said the EV concept is the future of driving.
Babwah said all EV vehicles were fully exempted from taxes with ranges from 250 km to 600 km on a fully charged car.
The cars on display included the Nissan Leaf, MG ZS EV, Honda Vezel, Mercedes Benz A250e, Benz EQB, and EQC and Tesla Model 3.
Babwah said the vehicles came with three years or 50,000 km warranty.
