Easter Schedule of Inter-Island Ferry Released

THE inter-island ferry the Galleons Passage will be on dry dock from February 18 to March 9.

This is according to a release from the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) on Friday.

It stated that it was withdrawn from service to undergo its statutory maintenance programme.

During the vessel’s absence, the following contingencies will apply so as to ensure an uninterrupted inter-island service.

TTIT stated that in the absence of the Galleons Passage, the APT James with a capacity of 400 passengers will sail on February 24 from Scarborough to Port-of-Spain at 6am and from Port-of-Spain to Scarborough at 4pm.

And the T&T Spirit, also with a capacity of 400 passengers, on March 3 will sail from Port-of-Spain to Scarborough at 6.30am and from Scarborough to Port-of-Spain at 4pm.

The TTIT has also released the schedule of additional sailings of the Galleons Passage during the Easter Holiday period:

  • Thursday April 1, 2021 POS-Scar: 8am & Scar-POS: 2pm
  • Friday April 2, 2021 POS-Scar: 8am & Scar-POS: 2pm
  • Monday April 5, 2021 POS-Scar: 8am & Scar-POS: 2pm
  • Tuesday April 6, 2021 POS-Scar: 8am & Scar-POS: 2pm
