DEFENDING A Division leaders Drifters extending their unbeaten run to four matches after defeating Jus For Fun Vikings 7-3 in the Trinidad and Tobago Darts Association’s National 501 League on February 25.
Drifters set the tone early, racing to a 5-1 lead before the Vikings mounted a late comeback attempt, securing two additional games.
However, the gap proved insurmountable, leaving the Vikings in fourth place. Hot on Drifters’ heels are second-placed De Original Game Shot (D.O.G.S.), who trounced newcomers Sea Wolves 9-1. Joshua Balfour stole the spotlight for D.O.G.S., clinching a maximum 180—the highest single-turn score in darts—to cap a dominant team performance.
In other A Division fixtures, E-Z Lines reignited their campaign with a commanding 8-2 victory over promoted side Scorpions. James Walklin shone brightly, posting averages of 75, 76, and 88 to secure third place for the defending champions.
The B Division witnessed equally fierce competition. Jus For Fun Snipers maintained their flawless record (4-0) with a gritty 7-3 win over Bullz I, despite seven of ten matches reaching decisive final legs.

Pub House Pirates mirrored the Snipers’ resilience, overturning an early deficit to defeat Bulldogs 7-3. After trailing 3-1, the Pirates clawed back, overcoming Bulldogs’ standouts Justin Edwards and Goutam Heeraman to seal victory. Shanghai Bulls rounded out the B Division top three with a 9-1 rout of Top Shot.
All eyes now turn to Tuesday, 11th March 2025, when league leaders Drifters face second-placed D.O.G.S. in a high-stakes showdown at #36 New Street, Port of Spain (8:30 PM). With just one point separating the rivals, the match promises to be a pivotal moment in the title race.
