ATTORNEY Gerald Ramdeen produces a death certificate showing that one of the divers who died in a pipeline of Paria Fuel Trading Company was alive three days after an incident.
Ramdeen is representing the relatives of Kazim Ali Jr, one of four divers who died while doing maintenance work on a pipeline of Paria Fuel Trading Company on February 25.
On Thursday, Ramdeen produced the death certificate of Ali. It showed the date of death as February 28.
The cause of death was asphyxia.
Ali’s father, Kazim Ali sr, owns the company LMCS which was conducting the maintenance work at a sealine by Berth 6 of Paria.
