MORE than 1,400 people have died of Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago since the pandemic started last year.
In its latest update (#850) on Friday, the Ministry of Health eight more deaths due to Covid-19. This brings the death toll to 1,405.
It also reported another 218 new cases taken during the period September 13 to September 16.
