CHIEF Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram manages a smile at the virtual media conference (VMC) on Monday morning when Communications Minister Donna Cox wishes him belated birthday greetings.
He celebrated his birthday on May 8.
The CMO, who has been implementing the policies advocated by Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh and the Cabinet, has been seen as a calming influence in Trinidad and Tobago’s fight against Covid-19. He frequently appears at the VMCs giving updates and answering questions from the media with great composure.
After Dr Parasram gave his clinical update, Cox wished him belated birthday greetings and thanked him for his service on behalf of the people of TT.
Dr Parasram replied, “Thank you very much and for all the wished me well on Facebook and other forms of social media.”
“It really assisted me greatly in getting forward and having a good birthday although we are all in the stay at home,” he said ending with a rare smile.
