A CHINESE national is shot and killed on Thursday night in Diego Martin.
Kenlang Fang, 47, died after being shot at his business place. He succumbed to his injuries at around 11.40pm while undergoing treatment.
Police reported that around 9 pm, officers responded to a report of loud explosions at Lp No. 186 Diego Martin Main Road, Patna Village, Diego Martin.
Upon arrival at the Yang Hua Chinese Restaurant, officers observed Feng being placed in a motor vehicle.
Information received was that Feng was standing outside his business place when three men with firearms ran towards him and pushed him back inside the building. A loud explosion was heard and the three assailants were seen running out the building. They escaped on foot.
Feng was taken to the St James Medical Facility but later succumbed to his injuries.
He lived at Diego Martin, Main Road, Diego Martin.
Crime scene personnel processed the scene and retrieved one 9mm spent shell casing and one projectile. Police stated that the motive was robbery.
