A BUSINESS praises the People’s National Movement (PNM) and the United National Congress (UNC) following the 2023 Local Government Elections that took place on Monday.
The Chaguanas Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCIC) President Baldath Maharaj and the board of directors conveyed their congratulations to both the parties that contested the local government election.
“Though the results have ended in a tie again, we are certain that both parties will work together for the mutual benefit of Trinidad and Tobago,” Maharaj said in a release.
He added, “Our Chamber reaffirms our commitment to partner with both the UNC and The PNM in supporting policies geared towards the holistic development of our national community, and we look forward to engaging with you and your team to continue to promote business activity to stimulate economic growth.”
The Chaguanas Borough Corporation was won by the UNC yet again.
