TROY Bujuhwan is the winner of the Trinidad and Tobago Darts Association (TTDA) “grab bag” tournament.
The Darts Grab Bag Series tournament held on Tuesday at the Central Pub House saw 29 players participating.
A press release by TTDA stated that the format chosen was 301 double in double out.
Each player was able to play two games and get more darts out of the evening.
There was a surprise entry from Canadian dart player Gerald Pena, he took no prisoners and made it all the way to the semi-finals defeating some very good players along the way.
The final featured Bujuhwan and Lestor Legall. Those two put up a great final with Bujuhwan taking the first leg on D10, Legall fought back in the second leg, winning on D8.
Bujuhwan was the eventual winner with another neat D10 finish.
The TTDA said it was looking forward to getting the national league up and running later this month at the home of darts Kosmos Members Club in Port of Spain.
