Boy, 15, Arrested for $100 Robbery

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for robbery a 14-year-old student of $100.

A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service on Saturday stated that the 15-year-old was awaiting processing at the St Joseph Booking Centre following the robbery of a peer.

According to police reports on January 25, 2023, a 15-year-old student allegedly approached his 14-year-old peer demanding one dollar, the student refused and the 15-year-old began searching his pockets and discovered a $100 dollars, which he took.

A report was made to the Valencia Police Post, officers visited the secondary school on January 26, 2023 and conducted enquiries, the parents of the students were called in and the accused teen was cautioned in the company of his parent, he was then removed to the Valencia Police Post before being transferred to the St  Joseph Booking
Centre.
