Bangladesh Bans Recent Travellers from T&T

PERSONS who have been in Trinidad and Tobago in the past 15 days are not permitted to travel to Bangladesh effective from Friday.

Bangladesh, in its latest entry requirements based on Covid- protocols  also included Bahrain, Bolivia, Malaysia, the Maldives, Paraguay and Uruguay to its list.

On Thursday, the United Kingdom also added T&T to its “red list” countries in which travellers from there must enter into hotel quarantine paid for by the traveller.

Bangladesh authorities have said passengers arriving from coronavirus-affected countries, including the UK, should complete Health Declaration Forms and Passenger Locator Forms provided by cabin crew.  

On arrival in Bangladesh, all foreign nationals aged ten years and over need to produce a medical certificate issued within 72 hours of travel indicating the passenger is Covid-19 negative.
