An Arima man was arrested for the possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
A release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) on Friday stated that officers attached to the Northern Division Area East Team, between 3pm and 7pm on Thursday went to the Arima Drag Mall, in a drug block exercise.
Officers observed a Christina Gardens resident after which he was detained for being in possession of 37 grammes of marijuana and the sum of $ 4, 353, the release stated.
In separate exercise, officers went to an occupied property in the Arima District between the 12 midnight and 2.30 am on Friday, where they discovered 210 grammes of marijuana.
Investigations are continuing.
