THE fast ferry, APT James, is off the sailing schedule and on dry dock until December 1.
On Thursday, in the Ferry Focus Issue 18, the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) stated: “The APT James will taken off service to undergo its scheduled dry-docking works in compliance with the shipbuilder’s warranty.”
TTIT stated these works will consist of internal and out of water works which will be carried out at Berth #3 at the Port of Spain harbour and at Caribbean Dockyard (CARIDOC), following which the vessel is expected to resume service by December 1.
It stated, “While the APT James is out of service, there will not be any disruption in the interisland operations as the T&T Spirit, Buccoo Reef, and Galleons Passage will continue to service the Inter-island sea-bridge.”
