ONE day after a 4.5 earthquake was felt in Port of Spain, another one occurred and with tremors felt in many parts of Trinidad.
The earthquake occurred at 3.16 pm and measured a magnitude of 5.8, the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre reported.
It also had a latitude of 10.51N, longitude: 62.53W and depth: 98.1 km.
Shortly after the earthquake, persons immediately took to social media to state that they felt it.
Several posted that it was felt strongly in south, Trinidad with doors rattling.
In central, items were seen shaking.
Two people said it was felt in Grenada.
Westmoorings, Diego Martin and Arima were other places where it was felt.
On Wednesday, the centre reported an earthquake was felt in Port of Spain at 12.13 pm.
Last week, the Centre also reported that a 4.4 earthquake occurred near cities in Guadeloupe, Antigua and Barbuda and Dominica.
