TEN additional people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
In its update on Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Health noted that seven were contacts of recently positive patients while three were pending epidemiological investigation.
It stated that 40 patients were warded while nine were en route to hospital.

Of these, 35 were at the Caura Hospital and five at the Couva Hospital and Multi-Training Facility.
The release stated that 8,766 samples have been tested by the Caribbean Public Health Agency and the University West Indies Site at Mt Hope.
It stated that 7,180 unique patient tests have been completed with 1,586 people having more than one Covid-19 test.
The number of positive cases now goes up to 192 with eight deaths and 135 people discharged.
