THE Secondary Entrance Examination (SEA) will now take place sometime in May.
It was scheduled for April 2.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley speaking at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s on Wednesday said after discussions with Minister of Education Anthony Garcia, it was decided to postpone the exams.
He did not give a specific date.
Rowley also said that the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) will also be held later than usually scheduled.
The prime minister was speaking after a Cabinet meeting to deal with the Covid-19 threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
