AN earthquake of a magnitude of 5.3 was recorded west south west of San Fernando at 12.24 a.m. on Tuesday.
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Unit stated that its location as
Latitude 10.11N and Longitude 61.98W with a depth of ten kilometres.
According to the centre it was recorded:
- 59 km WSW of San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago
- 80 km SW of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
- 97 km SW of Arima, Trinidad and Tobago
