SIX illegal immigrants have been deported as part of a repatriation exercise.
On Thursday six Venezuelan nationals, who were being held at the Immigration Detention Centre, were repatriated to their homeland.
The group, which included five males and one female, departed from the Port of Cedros aboard the Angel Del Orinoco 2.
This exercise is part of an ongoing initiative by the TTPS Immigration Investigations Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department/Criminal Records Office (CID/CRO).
It was coordinated by Chief Immigration Officer, Snr Supt Guy Alleyne, Supt Ettienne, ASP Sookdeo, Insp Phillip, and Sgt Daula.
