TRINBAGO Knight Riders (TKR) celebrated former captain Dwayne Bravo as he played his first game at home in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) versus the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain on Wednesday.
Bravo announced his retirement in a social media post on August 31, stating that the 2024 CPL would be his last professional tournament.
All TKR players wore the number 47 with “Thank You DJ” inscribed at the bottom of their t-shirts in place of their names. Bravo remained with the name “Champion” with his number 47 on his jersey.
TKR won the game by five wickets with four balls remaining.
