New Zealand 41 for 1 (Conway 22*) beat Uganda 40 (Southee 3-4, Boult 2-7) by nine wickets
NEW Zealand destroyed Uganda at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy last Friday.
The East African country, an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), were bowled out in the 19th over for 40. Their only minor consolation was that they passed 39 – the tied lowest for a team in a T20 World Cup.
Both teams were unable to qualify for the Super Eights.
