AN earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale has been recorded off 81 km northwest of Trinidad.

According to the University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Centre, the earthquake was recorded at 10.28 pm on Monday.
It was located at 11.15 °N and 62.05 °W with a magnitude of 4.1 and depth of 86 km.
Additionally, the earthquake was also felt 102 km northwest of Arima and 105 km SSW off St George’s Grenada.
