A 38-year-old man was gunned down while speaking on his cell phone in Point Fortin on Tuesday evening.
Police said Brent Lewis was standing near the community Centre in Techier Village when he got a call and answered it around 8.45 pm.
While speaking and walking on the road, a heavily tinted Nissan Tiida pulled up next to him and two occupants opened fire, fatally wounding him.
Lewis was said to be self-employed.
