PHIL Salt is on fire. A scintillating 57-ball 119 by him put the fourth T20I game out of the reach of the West Indies to level the series two-a-piece with the fifth and final one at the same venue at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba on Thursday.

Despite being snubbed by the Indian Premier League (IPL), Salt shared in a second consecutive hundred opening partnership with Jos Butler that helped England to 267 for 3, the second highest T20I scored by a Full Member nation. It was also Salt’s second ton in a row.
