SOCA artiste Ricardo Drue has died.
Reports out of Antigua has stated that he was pronounced dead around 12 noon on Tuesday at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.
He was 38.
Reporting his death were The Antigua Observer and the Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services,
Drue was the fiancé of Trinidad and Tobago Soca artiste Patrice Roberts. They were engaged last year and made the song Toxic Love together.
On her Instagram page, Roberts posted a video with Drue and herself with the comment, “I’d do anything to hear your voice, wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
One of Drue’s biggest hits was Vagabond in 2015.
