A CAMP with marijuana estimated with a street value of $80,000 was destroyed by police.
According to police reports, last Wednesday, during 4 pm and 6 pm police officers from Biche Police Station were conducting a drug trafficking suppression and eradication exercise in the district when they received information about a marijuana camp located along Biche Ortoire Road, Biche.
The officers proceeded to the location where they found 50 fully grown cannabis trees at a site located 20 feet from the roadside.
Despite surveillance exercises by the officers, no one was seen at the location, however, the trees were uprooted and destroyed.
PC Singh is continuing investigations into the find.
