TOBAGO has recorded another murder for 2023.
The latest victim has been identified as Edward Eastman, 68, from Golden Lane Tobago.
His body was found near his home in Les Couteaux.
Investigations are currently ongoing by the police.
Last week, Donneil Thomas, of Signal Hill, became Tobago’s 4th murder victim after being shot multiple times.
On April 8, 49-year-old Lynch Bovell of Bethel, died while being treated at hospital also following a shooting incident.
In March, police were seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a body Golden Grove Road, Buccoo, Tobago. The body was later identified as that of Rishi Renny Khodai, 39, formerly of Manuel Congo, Tumpuna Road, Arima and most recently residing at Arnos Vale Road, Plymouth, Tobago.
And on February 9, Tobago recorded its first murder when Nigel Sandy of Plymouth was shot dead.
