SLOPE stabalisation works are expected to be conducted along the Tarouba Link Road.
The works will cause a temporary traffic disruption in the vicinity of the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) San Fernando Campus, effective March 13 to March 27.
No shoulder access would be available at the workzone, a release from the ministry stated.
Additionally, to facilitate road rehabilitation works, there will be a temporary traffic disruption along Beetham Highway East Bound, from Production Drive to Civilian Conservation Corps.
This disruption will also take place from March 13 and to March 27.
Traffic disruption at Beetham Overpass
The ministry also advises the public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Beetham Overpass Westbound, in the vicinity of National Petroleum House which has become necessary to facilitate maintenance works along the overpass.
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers, comply with instructions from police officers on-site, be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site, drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
The Ministry of Works and Transport apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for its continued cooperation.
