SCHOOLS in Tobago are being dismissed at 1 pm today (Thursday 11, November, 2022).
This is due to the inclement weather and advisories issued by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS).
The Division of Education, Research and Technology (DERTech) in a media release on Thursday morning stated, “Parents are advised to make the necessary arrangements to have their children collected as soon as possible. Students who utilise the maxi taxi services will be collected from their respective schools.”
DERTech urges all to remain vigilant during this time and to take the necessary precautions to preserve their safety.
Families affected by adverse weather conditions are also advised to contact the 211 Call Centre or the Tobago Emergency Management Agency at 660-7489.
