THIRTY per cent of Trinidad and Tobago is without electricity.
Sources at the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) said there is a problem with the Union-Gandhi line and this has caused the power outage.
Places without electricity include: Curepe, Diego Martin, Penal, Macoya, Malabar, Chin Chin, La Brea, Vance River, Piparo, Freeport, Maloney, Rousillac, Carapo, St Helena, Longdenville, Manzanilla and Omera.
