THE validity of drivers’ licences, taxi driver badges, certificates and all other documents issued by the Licensing Division will be valid until January 1, 2023.
This according to a release from the Ministry of Works and Transport on Tuesday.
The ministry stated that appointments must be scheduled using the online appointment portal.
However, members of the public are encouraged to explore all available time-slots licensing locations across the country if their preferred location is unavailable.
The ministry reminded persons that a proof of address (utility bill no older than three months) was required to complete a licensing transaction.
In addition, the Licensing Authority will accept a cable bill, home internet bill, electricity bill (T&TEC) or water bill (WASA) as proof of address.
“If a customer does not have a utility bill in their name, he or she is required to produce a letter of authorization from the owner and a copy of their national identification,” the release stated.
