A PART of the North Coast Road is now open to single-lane traffic.
The Ministry of Works and Transport in an update on the road repair at 2.30 pm on Monday stated that although interim works were completed earlier that day, technical and infrastructural surveys were on-going to develop a solution to address the current landslips with the aim of restoring full connectivity.
The road at the 11 km mark between Maracas Look-out and Maracas Bay suffered a landslip last Friday.
Repair works began on Saturday.
Members of the general public are asked to exercise extreme caution when traversing the North Coast Road.
The Ministry of Works and Transport apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for its patience and continued cooperation.
