ATTORNEY GENERAL Reginal Armour breached a most fundamental code of ethics.
So said Public Relations Officer of the United National Congress Dr Kirk Meighoo in a release on Wednesday.
He said, “Put simply, the Attorney General has breached the most fundamental code of ethics by accepting a brief against a former client of his, and also by apparently perjuring himself in a foreign court of law.”
He said, “The most irresponsible part is that the always-absent Keith Rowley appointed as our Attorney General a man who defended former PNM financier and PNM Minister Brian Kuei Tung, and then asked him to prosecute the same Brian Kuei Tung.
“In doing so, the Attorney General lied about his relationship to Kuei Tung on oath in a US court, and possibly destroyed the whole case.
“Is this a case of colossal negligence and incompetence?
“Or was this actually done on purpose? The question must be asked.”
The only distractions here are from you, Camille. Armour must go. In fact, we are certain that he will go. It is only a matter of time.
