MINISTER in the Ministry of Finance Brian Manning has met the Public Services Association (PSA) on the proposal to increase the compulsory retirement age from 60 to 65 years.
A release from the Ministry of Finance stated that Manning met with the PSA on April 12.
This is part of the continuing discussion with members of the trade union movement.
The release stated, “The Minister and the PSA representatives had a cordial and fruitful discussion surrounding the subject matter. Discussions with other trade union bodies will continue in the near future.”
