THE Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) report into the death of four divers at the Paria Fuel Trading Company almost a month ago is not a matter for the cabinet at this time.

This according to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley in answer to a question by Couva South MP Rudranath Indarsingh in the Lower House on Wednesday.

Dr Rowley said, “No report has been produced and therefore there is no role for the cabinet at this time and there is nothing to report on until OSHA has done its work.”

He said the Government expected OSHA under law to conduct its business with dispatch.

On February 25, divers Yusuf Henry, Fyzal Kurban, Kazim Ali Jnr, Rishi Nagassar attached to a private company LMCS, died while conducting maintenance work on a 30-inch pipeline Berth 6 at Paria.
