A MAN has been shot in South Oropouche early on Saturday morning.
Reports are that around 2.30 am, Marvin Allen, 40, a labourer was liming at his home with a female friend when a man known to both arrived.
An altercation took place between the two men and the suspect then pointed a shotgun at Allen, fired one shot killing him at the scene.
He then escaped.
Investigations are continuing.
