A 4.7 magnitude earthquake rocked parts of Trinidad on Tuesday night.
In an update on Wednesday, the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre stated that the epicentre with a depth of 68 km was felt 120 km NW of Port of Spain. It occurred at 10.59 pm.
However, it was recorded 108km NE of Carupano, Venezuela and 119.0km SW of St George’s Grenada.
Meanwhile, many people took to social media to share their experiences from areas such as Diego Martin, Carenage, Arouca, Petit Valley, St James, Palmiste, Cedros, Erin, St Joseph, Santa Cruz, Glencoe, St Augustine and Central.
