WPC Dies at Home

ANOTHER police officer has died but her death was not Covid-19 related. 

On Monday, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service TTPS issued condolences on behalf of Acting Commissioner of Police Mc Donald Jacob and the TTPS executive, to the family, friends, and colleagues of Woman Police Constable (WPC) Isomia Taylor.

Taylor, 38, passed away at her home on Monday after not feeling well for the past few days. She was being seen by a physician for a heart condition.  

Taylor leaves to mourn her mother, six siblings, her son, two daughters, and spouse.

The TTPS stated that she was last attached to the Criminal Records Office (CRO) in the Tobago Division and worked there for the past 16 years. Her first role was as a clerk-recorder after which she became a trained crime scene and fingerprint technician. She enlisted as a special reserve officer on August 3, 2004, and subsequently became a regular police officer on March 6, 2009.

Her colleague, Cpl King described her as very knowledgeable in her various roles and always willing to help others.
